This notice covers the slirc.org website and its waiting list. The chat service at app.slirc.org has its own privacy and safety page. Managed hosting at slirc.app has its own notice, and every self-hosted Slirc is run by its own operator.

What we collect

slirc.org uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure performance. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Why we use it

To send you a confirmation when you join, your invite to app.slirc.org on Oct. 6th, 2026, and, if you asked for it, the link to the source code when it goes public on Oct. 12th, 2026. Nothing else is sent to this list.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. Withdraw it any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, and your address is deleted at once.

Who processes it

The list is stored on our own server. Resend delivers the email and processes recipient addresses and message content in Ireland. Cloudflare sits in front of slirc.org as a content delivery network and provides the cookieless analytics, so it sees connection addresses in transit.

We do not sell, share, or enrich the list, and nothing on it is used for advertising or model training.

Retention

We keep the list until the launch emails are sent, and delete it within 90 days after Oct. 12th, 2026. Unsubscribe earlier and your address goes at once. An account on app.slirc.org is separate and follows the app's own rules.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Reply to any email from us or write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We update this page when data handling changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
